GOLU & GANDHI JAYANTHI
Golu or Kolu is the toy festival celebrated during the festival of Navrathri in the school. At the beginning of the festival, dolls, toys, and other figurines were displayed in a specially constructed stage with seven tiered display. We appreciate the little ones who generously came forward to share their articles for this occasion. The significance of the festival was explained during the Navarathri Celebration in the School through Goddess Durga and her 9 different avatars: Pratipada-Shailputri, Dwitiya-Brahmacharini,Tritiya-'Chandraghanta,Chaturthi-Kushmanda,Panchami-'Skanda Mata, Shasthi-'Katyayan, Saptami-Kaali, Ashtami-MahaGouri, Navami-Siddhidatri
Gandhi Jayanthi – One of the National Festivals of India was celebrated in advance at the School in the month of September. Students shared the spirit of patriotism and lessons on Truth and Non-violence through the skits and songs.
