Robotix
To signify the successful completion of the Product Design, Class XII conducted in association with Robotix:Learning Solutions at BVM Global @Trichy. 7 various Projects made during the course were displayed for the Parents, Students and Teachers on the Eve of 12th April 2017 between 3.00 and 4.30 pm. The Exhibits were well received and much appreciated. Students of class XII in teams of two had displayed a 3D Printed Figurine which was personally designed and modeled using two softwares – 123D Design for Engineering models and Sculptris for organic model. A creative array of 3D printed mythical creatures and a few technical pieces were showcased. In order to explain the design process even more clearly a 3D printer was set up where a model was printed on spot and live demonstrations were given.Another segment of interest was “Problem Solving Products” wherein creative solutions were offered or rather explored for the shortcomings of day to day objects. For example a headphone or a helmet; this section showcased the Analytical Thinking Skills of Students. The students also built their own working models which include Strand Beest, Thermocol cutter with Nichrome wire, Crossbow, Piston and a working model of an ATM. In a nutshell the exhibition was a showcase of talents skills and creative thinking.
