Kinder Garten Field & Fun trip
Tiny tots of the Kindergarten visited the Railway Heritage Centre & Museum on 15th April, 2017. The little ones had good exposures through the exhibits that shared the heritage of Trichy. The museum has both indoor and outdoor exhibits. Students were amazed at the fine displays of the indoor exhibits which included, old documents and digital archives - rare photographs, maps, gazettes, railway manuals and books used during the British Raj and epoch artefacts (old lamps used at stations made up of “China glass”, clocks, bells, staff badges, etc., brought sparkling delights in the eyes of the students. Teachers’ explanations on the outdoor exhibits of vintage locomotive engines and a functional toy train cheered up the spirits of the little ones.
