Robotix USA launched Phiro - a smart Lego® compatible, programmable Robotic toy for kids ages 4 to 18 to learn to code in 5 ways, on November 2nd. Phiro was also featured on Intel America’s Greatest Makers. As part of the kickstarter campaign, our supporters had the opportunity to donate Phiro robots to Annai Ashram, Orphanage for Girls, in Trichy, with the aim to bridge the gender gap in STEM. BVM Global @ Trichy is pleased to announce that 10 robots have been donated to this Ashram. The girls of the Ashram will be trained in coding with their own Phiro through classes over 30 weeks across the annual year. With their Phiro, these girls will learn to Program, Invent things and bring their Inventions to life.
