Flood Light Football Match – SoccerFest 5th& 6th April, 2018
It is the very first time that we have introduced Interschool Flood-Light SoccerFest at our Campus. It is a tournament with age groups ranging from under-11to under- 13. Unlike regular soccer, SoccerFest is a five-a-side tournament, meaning games are fast and take place on portions of the soccer field with smaller goals set up.Nearly Three Hundred Fifty students from forty-three different schools all over Trichy, TanjoreandKaraikal turned up for the first ever Flood Light Soccer Festival for girls and boys at BVM Global @Trichy Campus on 5th&6th April,2018.
The Chief Guest for the Inaugural Function, MajorDr. N.S.Shivakumar, Director of Physical Education, UrumuDhanalakshmi College, Kattur appreciated the School’s effort in providing such a magnificent exposure to flood-light match in the School Level. Sir had also inspired and stirred the Students, Parentsand Teachers community on Yoga and health fitness.
Mr. J. David Daniel, Football Coach, Sports Development Authority of India, the Chief Guest for Valedictory Function, gave away the prizes to the winning teams. We are more proud and pleased by our Girls Teams BVM Global@Trichywho has bagged the number one place in both the Under-11 and under-13 categories. The second places were bagged by SBIOA, Trichy and Montfort, Trichy respectively. Among Boys in Under 11 category first place went to RSK, Trichy and second place to Bollineni Hillside, Chennai; In Under-13 the first place was seized by Don Bosco, Tanjore and the second place byRSK, Trichy.
