BVM Global @ Trichy supported by its technology partner - Robotix Learning Solutions Pvt Ltd, Chennai, launched BVM Innovation Studio a new STEM Education programmeinitiative for students of class 10 and 11 on 6th June, 2019.
The BVM Innovation Studio will engage the students in the principles and know-how in the fieldof automobile engineering through a hands-on experiential learning process.
Students will be exposed to Smart Fx cars which are 1:8 scale electric and nitro fuel hi-speedRC racing cars.Students will build & assemble their Smart Fx cars, learn how to calibrate & fine tunemechanisms such as suspensions, transmission, steering and brake systems etc. And that’s not all; the students will further hone their knowledge & 21st century skills when theynext explore tinkering projects on electronics and robotics with Arduino, an open source hardware & software platform.
Along with that taught the principles of Product Design and will be able to design andmake their own prototype creations using 3D Printers.
The end objective is for students to be able to design autonomous driverless vehicles like what Google, Tesla and other famous auto companies are developing.
At the end of the academic year, teams of students from Class 10 and 11 will work on and thenpresent their projects via a YouTube channel.
