December 22 National Mathematics day was celebrated in BVM GLOBAL SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL with great starting. We conducted online events for primary students like role-play of Mathematicians, Speech about Ramanujam, Virtual tour of Ramanujam house and display of our young artist art work.
To inculcate the Need of Math in real life a video on History of Math was shown to students. Celebration continued for High school students with a special assembly. Students presented speech about Math day and Importance of Math in real life to improve critical thinking, creative reasoning skills. Students were entertained with some fun Math questions and some students got selected and were given gift by using method of finding vertices. Students enjoyed the quiz competition, and Rapid fire questions. Following that display and explanation of models related to mathematical concepts, riddles and fun games were conducted. Treasure hunt was conducted based on Math question for higher classes.
At the end of the day the celebration was a great success and it was an enjoyable day for the students.
