International Women's Day
B. V. M Global senior secondary school celebrated International Women's Day today in a grand manner under the leadership of The Principal Ms. Kalaivani and the guidance of the Director of Education Mr. Rajendran and Vice – Principal (Academics) Ms. Tamilselvi and Vice - Principal (Operations) Ms. Jaisri Raju Sriram.
The Chief guests for this event were Rtn Subha Prabu(Administrator Joseph eye hospital), Rtn Janaki Rajasekar, Rtn Subathra, Rtn Gayathri,Rtn Parasakthi and Rtn Saranya Selvaraj.
The program started with the prayer and the lighting of the lamp. A song dedicated to women empowerment and the dance based on the theme Shakthi by the students of BVM.
The chief guest Rotarian Subha Prabhu, shared her experience and her contribution to the society to inspire and encourage all the women to keep excelling consistently and to keep moving in life all the time.
Alumni Ms. Afrin Fathima and Head girl Ms. Maya Ramaneetharan Ramanathan shared their experiences in BVM.The women and male staff with the guidance of the principal conducted various events like the Mounam mozhi sutru, Pros and Cons, Obstacle race, Footstep, 1 Minute talk( without English words), My own story, Ornament making, and Word battle to mark this day.
The program was well organized by the Principal, Vice-Principals, teachers, and non-teaching staff. Many parents took part and actively participated in the events and were delighted with the prizes given to them.
The program ended with the National anthem.
