National and Religious Festivals

The prosperous and pulsating festivals of India are a witness to our diverse tradition and culture. Festivals in India revolve around Lord’s birthdays, traditional myths, seasonal changes, relationships, and much more. This Year August was the month of Religious and National Festivals, and they are celebrated irrespective of religion or caste in BVM Global; bringing students, teachers and everyone closer in one spirit to create a strong bond of teaching - learning environment.

a.      Gokulashtami was celebrated on 11th August, 2017. Songs and dances by the primary students filled the atmosphere with the mood of celebration. KG kids dressed up as Radha and Krishna added splendor to the occasion and stole the show.

b.      The festival of relationship between brothers and sisters – Rakshabandhan was taken beyond the School campus on 19th August, 2017. A group of students representing the Primary and Secondary classes along with the guiding teachers carried forward the message of love and affection to the Airport Police Force. Students delivered speech along with the song and dance. Tying Rakhi around the officials’ wrist was an enriching experience for both the students and the officials.

 

c.       Ganesh Chaturthi as usual fills the children with the spirit of cheer and thrill may be the Idol himself is the reason and the delicious eatables that surround him. Such was the temper of all the kids of Primary on 21st August, 2017; the day when Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in our School. Students sang and danced in the praise of Pillaiyar and enjoyed the sweets distributed.
